Ideal candidates should have strong theoretical foundations in statistics/data science/biostatistics, excellent communication skills and proficiency in programming with R or Python. Undergraduate Summer Research Opportunities: Senior undergraduate students (3rd year or above) with a background in statistics, biostatistics, data science, mathematics or computer science are invited to explore summer research opportunities (e.g. NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award (USRA)). Projects will focus on topics of mutual interest, and students may also choose from a list of available research areas. Experience with R and Python is considered an asset. To facilitate productive discussions, interested students are encouraged to meet in person and bring:
